Adding a New Website

What this is

Each website you host with TrustEdge lives as its own container in your control panel, with its own files, databases, and settings. Adding a website is the first step to getting online.

How to add a website

1. Click Websites in the left sidebar.
2. Click Add new.
3. Choose how to start:
4. Start from scratch — an empty website you'll build up yourself.
5. Install an app — one-click install of WordPress (with or without WooCommerce) or Joomla.
6. Clone a website — duplicate an existing site on your account.
7. Optionally check Make this a staging site if you want a test copy (see Creating a staging copy).
8. Click Add.

Good to know

• Your hosting plan determines how many websites you can create. The count appears on your subscription card on the dashboard.
• If your plan includes pre-configured plugins or themes, they'll be installed automatically when you choose WordPress.
• A staging site does not count toward your website limit.
