Deleting a Website

What this is

When you no longer need a website, you can delete it from your account. This happens in two stages to protect against accidents.

How to delete a website

  1. Go to Websites.
  2. Click the ⋯ menu next to the website.
  3. Select Delete and confirm.

How deletion works

  • Soft delete (first stage): The website is disabled and you lose access, but the data still exists. It can be restored during this period.
  • Permanent delete (second stage): After the soft-delete grace period, the data is permanently removed, including all backups.

Warning: Once a website is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered through self-service. If you need to restore a permanently deleted site, contact representative@trustedge.gt immediately — we may be able to recover it from archived backups, but this is not guaranteed.
