Editing PHP Settings (php.ini)

What this is

The php.ini file controls PHP behavior on your website — memory limits, upload sizes, execution times, and more. You can add or change PHP directives from the control panel.

How to edit PHP settings

  1. Go to Websites → click your website → Advanced → Developer Tools.
  2. Click php.ini editor in the sidebar.
  3. Click Add directive.
  4. Enter the directive name (e.g., memory_limit).
  5. Set the value.
  6. Click Create.

After making changes

Restart the PHP container to apply your changes: Developer Tools → PHP → Restart PHP container.

Note: Your website will be briefly offline (a few seconds) while the PHP container restarts.
