Installing WordPress

What this is

You can install WordPress on any website in your TrustEdge account with one click — no manual downloads, file uploads, or database setup required.

During website creation

1. Go to Websites → Add new.
2. Select Install an app.
3. Choose WordPress (or WordPress + WooCommerce for an online store).
4. Click Add.

WordPress is installed with the latest version and an admin user is created automatically.

On an existing website

1. Go to Websites → click your website.
2. On the dashboard, find the Applications section.
3. Install WordPress from there.

Good to know

• You can install WordPress in multiple subdirectories on a single site.
• If your hosting plan includes pre-configured plugins or themes, they're installed automatically.
