Pushing Staging to Live

What this is

When you're happy with changes you've made on your staging site, you can push them to your live website. This copies the staging files and databases over to the live site.

How to push staging to live

1. Go to Websites → click your staging site.
2. On the website dashboard, click Push live.
3. Enter the target domain (your live site's domain).
4. Click Push live to confirm.

What happens during the push

• All files are copied from staging to live.
• Databases are copied over.
• If it's a WordPress site, the system automatically runs a search-and-replace to update URLs from the staging address to your live domain.

Warning: Pushing to live overwrites what's currently on the live site. Any changes made to the live site since you created the staging copy will be lost.
