Setting Up Auto-Responders (Out-of-Office)

What this is

An auto-responder sends an automatic reply to anyone who emails you — commonly used for out-of-office messages or to confirm receipt of a message.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Emails tab → click the mailbox.
  2. Find the Out-of-office notifications (autoresponders) section.
  3. Write your auto-reply message.
  4. Set how often the responder sends to the same person (so they don't get a reply to every single email they send).
  5. Optionally set a start and end date.
  6. Save.

Good to know

  • The auto-responder won't flood someone's inbox — you control the interval between repeat replies to the same sender.
