Changing Your WordPress Site URL

What this is

If you need to change the domain your WordPress site responds to (for example, moving from a temporary domain to your permanent one), you can do it from the control panel.

How to change the URL

1. Go to WordPress → Manage → General.
2. Find Change the WordPress site URL.
3. Enter the new URL and save.

The system updates the WordPress database accordingly.

Good to know

• This is handled automatically during cloning and push-to-live operations.
• If you change your domain name, make sure DNS is pointing correctly before updating the URL.
