Creating a Manual Backup

What this is

In addition to automatic backups, you can create a manual backup at any time — for example, before making a risky change to your site.

How to create a manual backup

1. Go to Websites → click your website → Advanced → Backups.
2. Click Create backup.
3. Enter a note describing what this backup is for (like "Before plugin update").
4. Click Backup now.

Good to know

• The Create backup button only appears if your hosting plan includes manual backups. If you don't see it, contact representative@trustedge.gt.
• Manual backups show up in the same backup list as automatic ones.
