Managing PHP Extensions
What this is
PHP extensions add extra capabilities to PHP — things like image processing (imagick), database connections (pgsql), email functions (imap), and more. You can enable or disable them per website.
How to manage extensions
- Go to Websites → click your website → Advanced → Developer Tools.
- In the PHP section, find the extension manager.
- Toggle extensions on or off as needed.

Good to know
- You can enable any extension that's been installed on the server — not just a predefined list.
- Built-in extensions are listed alongside optional ones so you can see everything that's available.
- Enabled extensions persist if your site is migrated to a different server.
- After changing extensions, you may need to restart PHP (Developer Tools → PHP → Restart PHP container).
