Restoring a Single File from Backup

What this is

Instead of restoring your entire website, you can pull a single file out of a backup — useful when you accidentally deleted or corrupted one file.

How to restore a single file

  1. Go to Websites → click your website → Advanced → Backups.
  2. Select the backup point.
  3. Browse the backup contents and locate the file.
  4. Restore just that file.

Good to know

  • Single file restore works with backups stored on the TrustEdge backup system. If your backups are stored on S3-compatible storage, only full restores (website/email/custom) are available — individual file selection is not supported.
