1. What We Do
TrustEdge.gt provides web hosting, domain registration, and consulting services. We do our best to keep your data safe, your account secure, and your services running. That’s it. That’s what you’re paying for.
2. What You Get
We will work hard to:
- Keep your data secure from hackers
- Protect your account from unauthorized access
- Maintain your services and keep them online
- Help you with consulting and technical questions
We do NOT guarantee:
- That we’ll never have problems
- That hackers won’t try to get in
- That government agencies won’t try to access your data – we’ll resist them, but we’re not a law firm
- That anything is 100% safe, because nothing is
3. Your Stuff is Your Responsibility
Once you use our service, you agree that:
- You own your data
- You’re responsible for backing up your data
- We do our best, but we’re not liable if something goes wrong
- You understand that internet services have risks
4. Rules for Using TrustEdge.gt
You CANNOT use our services for:
- Illegal content (including illegal pornography)
- Spam or sending unwanted emails
- Fraud or scams
- Hacking or attacking other systems
- Malware or viruses
- Anything illegal under California law or US law
- Anything that gets us in legal trouble
If you break these rules, we will:
- Shut down your account
- Keep your data for legal purposes
- Work with law enforcement if needed
- Come after you personally and legally, wherever you are
5. Money Stuff
- You pay what you agreed to pay
- We can change prices with 30 days notice for renewals
- If you owe us money, we can suspend your service
- No refunds for partial months unless we mess up
- 20-day hosting test period: New hosting services include a 20-day testing period. If the service is not right for you, cancel it through your account portal within the first 20 calendar days and we will refund the initial hosting charge.
- After the 20-day testing period, the normal no-partial-month-refund rule applies.
- To prevent renewal, cancel through your account portal before your next monthly invoice is generated.
6. We’re Not Perfect
We try hard. We really do. But:
- Servers go down sometimes
- Internet has problems sometimes
- Hackers are real
- Sometimes we make mistakes
We’re not responsible for:
- Lost data (unless it’s because we were negligent)
- Lost money
- Lost business
- Anything that happens because the internet is the internet
Exception: If we actively cause damage through gross negligence, we’ll work with you. But our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
7. If There’s a Problem
If you have a problem with us, here’s what happens:
- You have to take us to court in San Bernardino County, California
- California law applies
- You cannot sue us anywhere else
- You waive your right to a jury trial if California law allows
- You waive your right to a class action lawsuit
This is not negotiable. Using our service means you agree to this.
8. We Can Change This
We can update these terms anytime. If we make big changes, we’ll let you know. If you keep using our service, you accept the new terms.
9. We Can Kick You Out
We can suspend or cancel your account if:
- You break the rules
- You don’t pay us
- You’re doing something illegal
- You’re hurting us legally or reputationally
- We think you might be
We’ll try to give you a heads up, but we don’t have to.
